For an organization with 'Service' in the official title, one might expect more coming into this facility. Don't. The hours are designed to provide anything but that. I think it is fair to assume that most people work 8:00am-5:00pm, so what are the hours of this post office? 8:00am-4:45pm. I hope your boss lets you take an extra long lunch break, cause you'll need it to get through the lunch rush. One might also foolishly think that if they have restricted hours, they must provide home delivery to accommodate? No. That's wrong too. As a matter of fact, when ordering packages online, you have to go the extra step to find out if they ship USPS or UPS/FedEx, because that affects the address you put on the box. And if you mistakenly put the other address on the box, UPS/FedEx will figure it out and transfer to USPS so it can be delivered to your box, but if this post office receives a physical address on it, they will make no attempt to figure out who the box belongs to. Now I don't expect them to do this constantly, and I have no doubt that it is administratively irritating to have mis-labeled packages, but I think it is another fine example of the Service provided at this fine establishment. It also doesn't help that our Post Office serves about 3000 people, and it's not like each of those 3000 people rarely visit the Post Office. As we are all slaves to it. At this point you might be wondering why I gave the Post Office two stars instead of one. The answer is simple- They aren't actually bad people. When you go in, you generally get good service. They try to be quick, and they are courteous when you speak to them, or at least the people they let perform customer service. They are able to quickly and politely answer questions. They try to resolve any problems that arise (sadly too many problems 'arise'). Truthfully, I imagine an ogre in the back who has deliberately set inconvenient open hours and forces the employees to send back random packages. It's not the employees fault, it's the PostOgre's.
