We stayed several days during the eclipse. The hosts, George and Cheri could not have been more accommodating. Facilities were clean and convenient. Having the store there is a big plus. As for the b-room whiners, this place has it's own well and waste treatment that is paid for by the owners. Chipping in to share the cost by purchasing something ought to be no big deal. It is not a public utility and no tax dollars support the convenience. If quiet, clean, away from the big tourist parks is your thing, this is the place. We will stay there again.
If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful RV Park; this is the place. We could not believe our luck when we found the Rim Station. We originally were going to stay one night but ended up spending a week. The owners were awesome and went out of their way to make us feel at home.
Beautiful view. George,the owner, went out of his way to help us when there was a fire and we went style l at a road closing. We didn't know our,way around and he helped us,and adequate phone calls. We were glad we stayed here. Nice store and campground. Has full hook ups. Please stop in and see them.
I have MS and never know when I'm going to suddenly need a bathroom. We stopped in here and was literally chased down by a woman as I tried to get to the bathroom. She refused to let me use the public bathroom until I bought something. Is that legal? Very weird encounter. By Gods Grace He calmed my system until we could get to a sane place... Scary.
We stopped so I could use the restroom (almost 7 months pregnant) with slim options around for this. As I asked the clerk if I could use the restroom she abruptly informed me a $2.00 purchase was required to use the restroom. Sad thing is I probably would've bought something while I was there, but because of the way I was treated I walked out. It's not even lawful for someone to refuse the restroom to anyone. Not sure how these guys don't get shut down. Keep driving. Wish I could give negative stars.
